Volunteers are our superpower.

From helping to manage the 24/7 crisis line to assisting with residents’ needs, organizing donations and more, we rely on caring volunteers to augment Gateway services. We provide training for all volunteers.
Volunteer Opportunities

24-hour Crisis Line. Assist with screening callers and routing calls.

 

Intakes. Assist with checking clients into Gateway.

 

Support Resident Needs. Get medicine for residents, drive them to appointments, etc.

 

Children Services. Support structured play groups and field trips.

 

Court Support. Provide information about legal process, accompany women through court proceedings, etc.

 

Community Engagement. Attend and support our Speaker’s Bureau and other community events.

Fundraising. Help us plan and organize gift-giving for holiday events.

Donations. Pick up/deliver donated items (need to have own vehicle), organize donations at the shelter, etc.
